Florence

The Italian city of Florence is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance. Many world-famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci , Michelangelo, and Fra Angelico worked in Florence at some time. Others like Galileo and Giotto worked there, too. Here many new ideas blossomed, giving it the reputation as the birthplace of the Renaissance. Sandro botticelli lived and worked in Florence.
